Dr. Selahattin Mente\u015f, yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 konu\u015fmada \u201cEngellilik hayat\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n ger\u00e7e\u011fidir. Bedensel ve ruhsal hi\u00e7 bir engeli bulunmayan her birey asl\u0131ndan bir engelli aday\u0131d\u0131r. Bedensel ve zihinsel engeli olan bir \u00e7ok insan teknolojinin geli\u015fmesiyle birlikte sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131na kavu\u015fmaktad\u0131r. Bu konuda fizyoterapistlere b\u00fcy\u00fck rol d\u00fc\u015fmektedir. T\u00fcm d\u00fcnya \u00fclkelerinde oldu\u011fu gibi \u00fclkemizde de ya\u015fanan kazalar ard\u0131nda binlerce engelli vatanda\u015f b\u0131rakmaktad\u0131r. Biz hekimler bu durumun en yak\u0131n tan\u0131\u011f\u0131y\u0131z. Bizler engelli olman\u0131n ya da bir engelliyle ya\u015faman\u0131n ne oldu\u011funun fark\u0131nday\u0131z ama fark\u0131nda olmayanlar i\u00e7in \u20183 Aral\u0131k D\u00fcnya Engelliler G\u00fcn\u00fc\u2019 d\u00fcnya genelinde engelli haklar\u0131na ve sorunlar\u0131na dikkat \u00e7ekilmek i\u00e7in ilan edildi. L\u00fctfen engelli insanlar\u0131 yok saymayal\u0131m, onlar\u0131 g\u00f6rmezden gelmeyerek sahip \u00e7\u0131kal\u0131m.
